The Chirimoya

The chirimoya is the fruit of the chirimoya tree, a tree found in the Andes; its name "chirimoya" means "The seed of cold" in Quechua. For a long time ignored by the general public, Peru has set up a vast campaign to promote this fruit in order to encourage its export.
